Maintenance Engineer

Our client is a strong player in FMCG. They are a well known brand and are in a growth phase. This company has a good culture with support and benefits for their staff. They need someone experienced who can hit the ground running.
This role will be responsible for machinery maintenance on fast moving production and packaging lines, and as a 4 on 4 off shift, will involve nights and weekends. The rotation is 4 nights on 4 off, 4 days on 4 off 12 hours per day.

The ideal candidate will have excellent opportunities to grow their career within this company, as the company is expanding. The base rate for this role is fixed annually including the shift allowance. Any overtime is paid over and above the base salary.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Trade certification in Fitting & Turning / Mechanical Engineering / Maintenance & Diagnostics or similar
- 5 years NZ experience in manufacturing, preferably FMCG, Food or Packaging
- A positive attitude and keen hunger to learn
- Excellent English communication skills
