Fitter Operator
- 3 shift rotation, morning, afternoon and overnight
- Part of a team reporting to the Shift Supervisor
- South Auckland location : Innovative company that anticipates demands and trends
You will be responsible for machinery and equipment maintenance on fast moving production and packaging lines, on a 3 shift rotation, 1 week mornings, 1 week afternoons and 1 week overnights for an innovative company that anticipates consumer demands and trends. This is a hands-on role; when the machines are down you will be required to operate machinery to help keep the plant running smoothly. You will be actively involved in Health and Safety, Continuous Improvement and attend meetings as and when required.
- Trade certification in Fitting & Turning / Mechanical Engineering or similar
- NZ experience in manufacturing, preferably FMCG
- Ability to work the 3 shift rotation
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- A positive attitude and keen hunger to learn
- Excellent English communication skills
